Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about IV infusions, vitamin injections, and more.

Why choose IV therapy?

IV Therapy elevates wellness to the next level. It ensures maximum absorption as it bypasses the digestive system, allowing for 100% absorption into the bloodstream. This results in an immediate, noticeable enhancement in both bodily and mental functions.

How often should you get IV Therapy?

When initiating treatment, weekly infusion sessions may be necessary, especially for those with chronic health conditions affecting the immune system. However, once nutrient levels stabilize, treatments spaced about two weeks apart are typically beneficial, as nutrient levels tend to remain elevated for two to three weeks post-treatment. Some patients opt for monthly sessions upon achieving desired results, while others seek treatment only when experiencing symptoms.

How long does it take?

During your first visit, paperwork will be completed, and your needs discussed. The infusion itself takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Is there any downtime afterwards?

There is no downtime with IV therapy. Once the treatment is complete, you can immediately resume your normal activities.

Is IV therapy safe?

Like any medical procedure, there are minor risks, such as bruising, pain at the needle site, or, rarely, “infiltration” due to vascular fragility. All risks will be thoroughly explained, and you will have the opportunity to consent or decline treatment.

Will it hurt?

The onset of treatment may involve a slight sting and pressure, but the infusion of hydration and vitamins is painless. For those concerned about initial discomfort, our trained medical staff can offer a topical numbing agent.

What if I am a hard stick?

Our staff is adept at starting IVs and may use a smaller 24G IV catheter if necessary, extending the drip time to around an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half.

Do you take insurance?

We do not accept insurance but do welcome HSA, FSA, Care Credit, Cash, Debit, and Credit Cards.

What if HSA rejects my claim, what can you do?

Detailed receipts will be provided.

I take vitamins by mouth daily. How would IV therapy benefit me?

Oral vitamin absorption ranges from 10-30%, whereas IV therapy ensures 100% absorption.

Who should get an IV?

Most individuals, depending on health history, can benefit from IV therapy.

What ages can get an IV?

We accommodate patients aged 12 and above or over 100 pounds with parental consent.

Are there any forms I need to sign?

New clients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and a consent form, available below. Those under 18 require parental consent.
